FRANKIE WRITES: I found this yellow and orange beetle on the way to a nearby cave in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Can you tell me what it is called?

In November Sahar Dimus, our guide on four CFZ Sumatra expeditions, died of liver failure leaving a widow Lucy and four Children. On the 2nd November, Dezyama D. Sangma, wife of our friend and colleague Dipu Marak, our collaborator on the 2010 Indian expedition died, leaving her grieving husband and two small children.

I think it's a true bug and not a beetle, and judging by the shape (and sturdy beak), I'm guessing it's some sort of assassin bug rather than a squash or stink bug. That's as far as I would go since I've never seen an assassin bug that shiny or colorful.
