UMMMMM.......
I have managed to do something stupid to the office computer, which I am pretty sure that I can fix, but which is going to take most of the rest of the day. In the meantime, although I can do limited bloggo posts, I can't do any emails, so it looks unlikely that there will be a post to Usenet today. Dale, if you manage to read this, can you post the details to as many groups as you can? Thanks, mate.

In November Sahar Dimus, our guide on four CFZ Sumatra expeditions, died of liver failure leaving a widow Lucy and four Children. On the 2nd November, Dezyama D. Sangma, wife of our friend and colleague Dipu Marak, our collaborator on the 2010 Indian expedition died, leaving her grieving husband and two small children.
