Today was my father's 81st Birthday. Very many thanks to all of you who have sent cards, presents and good wishes. He had a quiet day at home with several visitors and copious amounts of chocolate birthday cake and sherry.
He was particularly pleased with the rude card that Oll sent him and the sweet one Corinna sent.
On a less happy note, he has been unwell again in the last few days, and the doctors have diagnosed a partially collapsed lung. We don't know the cause yet, but are awaiting blood tests and a chest X Ray.
Keep us in your thoughts and prayers
