BABY FOX
Helen, the CFZ housekeeper (and mum of Emily and Jessica, who are familiar faces to the bloggo readership) had a visit from our friend Beth Tyler-King from Hartland Wildlife rescure, the other evening. She was accompanied by a ridiculously cute baby fox, who made friends with both Helen (below) and Jessica.

SOCIAL FAUX PAS REVERSED
As regular bloggo readers will know, young Jessica Taylor turned thirteen yesterday, and henceforth is a young lady rather than a child. We marked the fact on the blog yesterday, and Jess was very pleased with us having done so until she noticed the picture. "But I was only eleven in that picture" she wailed. You must have a picture of me as a teenager." So herewith, we present Jess unwrapping a box of chocolates yesterday evening.Happy now?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA
Jessica Taylor would like it to be known that she is now thirteen, and demands to be treated like a young lady. Jon may be her adopted uncle, but is henceforth forbidden to call her a horrible child....

JESSICA THINKS THAT THE WORLD SHOULD KNOW...
...that she can touch the tip of her nose with her tongue. What a revolting child she is!However, as she points out, in November she is 13, and will have to be treated like a "delightful young lady", and even adopted uncles (like me) can't call her a revolting child any more. That puts me in my place!

CFZ PEOPLE: Jessica Taylor
So yesterday marked another rite of passage for a core member of the CFZ team. Young Jessica Taylor (11, but insisting that we tell you that she is 12 in November) started Great Torrington Community School yesterday.Here she is looking very grown up and sophisticated, and probably soon will be too old to give her old Uncle Jon a cuddle.
Many of you will recognise Jessica from her starring role as younger sister to the eponymous star of Emily and the Big Cats (a role which she fills IRL as well)
When the CFZ's girls start growing up it makes the rest of us seem very old!
