On this
day in 1958 Alfred Hitchcock's film “Vertigo” had it's world premier in San
Francisco, USA. The film is now regarded as the best film ever made according to
the critics poll of the BFI, replacing the previous poll topper “Citizen
Kane”.

Vertigo
is good, but it pales into insignificance when compared to what is actually the
best film ever made. As the film is now out of copyright here it is in full,
