Now it seems to have sparked the interest of the London Cryptozoology Club, who went on an expedition to Tunbridge Wells earlier this month in search of the beast.
In this blog post by Matt Salusbury, he says how a group of members walked on the Commons trying to find the demonic-eyed monster.

As my blog post shows, we went with no expectation of finding any red-eyed monsters. It was a light-hearted Sunday outing in the firm belief that the answers to the Tunbridge Wells bigfoot were somewhere to be found in the "psycho-social" realm. Our mission was to sit around the pub asking people if they'd seen anything, with the emphasis on sitting around the pub.
Since then Take a Break's "Fate and Fortune" magazine (platform for horoscope ads, as far as I can discern) approached me and another from the London Cryptozoology Club for a 'light-hearted' comment on the Tunbridge Wells Bigfoot. We both declined, me not very politely.
