I thought I would forward this email to you.
A couple of days ago our
work experience student from Paris noticed two different species mating in the
flight area - Morpho peleides X Morpho
achilles. Thankfully he took a picture which is attached.
Now all we have to do is either be on the look out for hybrid offspring or
try and catch M. peleides and M. achilles in the act again, collect them and
wait for the female to lay.

In November Sahar Dimus, our guide on four CFZ Sumatra expeditions, died of liver failure leaving a widow Lucy and four Children. On the 2nd November, Dezyama D. Sangma, wife of our friend and colleague Dipu Marak, our collaborator on the 2010 Indian expedition died, leaving her grieving husband and two small children.
