The baby gourami in the pub tank continue to thrive, although they are still only at the planktonic stage. I don't think that I have ever seen baby fish quite so small, although many years ago when I was in Pembrokeshire at the Field Studies Council I was wading around on the marshy shores of a lake when I came upon a swarm of thousands of baby sticklebacks that were nearly as small....We are currently awaiting confirmation from the North Devon Hospice who have agreed in principle to our installing and maintaining a tank there....
