Oll sent down this video of people in the Welsh hills doing strange things with sheep. I don't know how much of this is real, but it is pretty damn extraordinary. There is only one problem. According to YouTube, eight and a half million people have seen this video since it was posted in March, so the odds are that some - at least - of the bloggo readership have already seen it....

In November Sahar Dimus, our guide on four CFZ Sumatra expeditions, died of liver failure leaving a widow Lucy and four Children. On the 2nd November, Dezyama D. Sangma, wife of our friend and colleague Dipu Marak, our collaborator on the 2010 Indian expedition died, leaving her grieving husband and two small children.
