It's Sunday so again its time

I have not felt up to making rhymes,
while we have been in such bad times,
but today although I'm cold and tired,
I feel mildly inspired...
Grandmother is back home once again,
She's not been here since way back when,
and though I'd rather drink and snooze
I'm editing the Village News
and cos its Olivia's Birthday,
I hope she's had a p[leasant day.

* Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an old hippy of 60 who - together with a Jack Russell called Archie, an infantile orange cat named after a song by Frank Zappa, three other cats, one totally coincidentally named after one of the Manson Family, purely because she squeaks, puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with various fish. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention Archie and the Cats?
Unlike some of our competitors we are not going to try and blackmail you into donating by saying that we won't continue if you don't. The hunt for Lake and Sea Monsters is probably the most iconic branch of Cryptozoology. Following our successful Mystery Cat and BHM Study Groups, we feel that these sightings should also be archived and published in a regular round-up of the stories as they come in.
