The latest Tasmanian Tiger sightings are expected to be near Rosebery on the states West Coast, with the commissioning of a series of silhouettes depicting historical events and Tasmanian icons.
The six life sized silhouettes will be installed at Rosebery and nearby communities on the West Coast by the MMG Mine.
The stainless steel and painted silhouettes will include a Thylacine, a miner walking to work with a Gladstone bag, a man drilling into a rock, a horse and man and a platypus.
MMG's community liaison manager Christine Winskill says the project was inspired by the silhouettes on the Tasmanian Heritage Highway.
