The Gonzo Daily - Monday
On Saturday Mike Davis and I played at the second
annual Fairy Ball in Clovelly. We have known each other for thirty-three years
and have been playing music together for all that time, but this was only the
second live appearance that we have ever done. I enjoyed it massively. You can

Many apologies to Babz and Nigel. We all enjoyed it
massively, but my legs were hurting so badly that we nipped off about three
quarters of the way through so I could get back home and take my medicine. So
please forgive us for disappearing on you...

* Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an
old hippy of 55 who - together with an infantile orange cat named after a song
by Frank Zappa, and a small kitten totally coincidentally named after one of the
Manson Family, purely because she squeaks, puts it all together from a converted
potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with
various fish, and sometimes a small Indian frog. He is ably assisted by his
lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and
a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the infantile
orange cat, and the adventurous kitten?
