And for no real reason Sunday's notifications are done in rhyme
It's Sunday, a grey day, and for no real reason
I write my blogs in rhyme no matter the season
cos it is the one day I don't have to be stuck in conference
it amuses me to indulge in such nonsense
and when I have finished rhyming in this nook
I will go off and write a bit more of my book
until this evening when I believe
I am having a visit from Martin Eve
showing me how to use some recording software
although up to now I really did not care
but I'm gritting my teeth to do something I hate
cos Cakewalk is banjaxed by Windows 8
so though I didn't get up till gone three
I'm having a productive day can't you see

* Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an
old hippy of 56 who - together with an infantile orange cat named after a song
by Frank Zappa, and a small kitten totally coincidentally named after one of the
Manson Family, purely because she squeaks, puts it all together from a converted
potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with
various fish, and sometimes a young lady called Jessica. He is ably assisted by
his lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law,
and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the
infantile orange cat, and the adventurous kitten?
