A WEEKEND WITH THE HENS

The Gonzo Daily - Sunday
And for no real reason Sunday's notifications are done in rhyme

It's Sunday so again its time
to do the daily blogs in rhyme:

It's not something *I set out to do with my life,
but I've found a great way I can annoy my wife,
I'm not sure why it would cause her pain,
but she hates Miles Davis' 'Sketches of Spain'
and she ends up being horribly rude
when I am in a jazzy mood,
and ends up shouting "Jonathan...
put those bloody headphones on!"

Forgive the assonance

AND THE LATEST ISSUE OF THE GONZO MAGAZINE:

Gonzo Weekly #327/8
THE HURRY ON SUNDOWN ISSUE

In this immensely spacey issue, Graham presents the first half of a look at Hawkwind, year by year, in this their demi-centennial. Jon remembers Judge Trev and looks at the new reissue CD, praises the indomitable Greta Thunberg, and critiques Graham Nash's autobiography, Rob photographs Rick Wakeman and the Granary Choir, Alan revisits Edinburgh in the Sixties, John goes to see Carey Grace, Richard goes to see Cracked, by Emily Hinshelwood, and Tony has difficulties when buying a water pistol. And yes, there's lots more.

Hail Eris!

And there are radio shows from Mack Maloney and Friday Night Progressive AND Strange Fruit and Canterbury sans Frontieres are both back. AND there are columns from Kev Rowland, and C J Stone, and Neil Nixon, but Roy Weard Mr Biffo, and the irrepressible Corinna are on hiatus.  There is also a collection of more news, reviews, views, interviews and rock wallabies who've blown a fuse (OK, nothing to do with the relatively small macropods who are having electrical problems, but I got carried away with things that rhymed with OOOOS) than you can shake a stick at. And the best part is IT's ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!

This issue features:
