And so it is Sheri's last day with us for this placement. She returns to Yorkshire tomorrow and we shall miss her lots. The weather is getting warmer which means that we have our animal rescue hats on, and at the moment we have a slow-worm, a bank vole, and six newts awaiting rehabilitation. The house is full of animals and music, which is really how it should be. The first music that I have heard from the new House of Love album sounds amazing, but the record that I am listening to most at the moment is 'Gridlock' by Mr Averill. Expect an interview sooner rather than later.

*  Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an old hippy of 53 who - together with his orange cat (who is currently on sick leave in Staffordshire) and a not very small orange kitten (who isn't) puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with various fish, and sometimes a small Indian frog. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the orange cats?
