 Volunteers needed for wildlife habitat improvement project 
Arizona Antelope Foundation plans fence modification project June 8 near Big Lake 
 
 
GREER, Ariz. — The Arizona Antelope Foundation (AAF), in cooperation with the Arizona Game and Fish Department, is seeking volunteers for a one-day fence modification project June 8 near Big Lake.  

The project activity includes modifying fences by removing the bottom strand of barbed wire and replacing it with a single strand of smooth wire 16 inches above the ground.

The project begins at 7 a.m. June 8. AAF will provide dinners June 7 and June 8, as well as continental breakfasts with coffee and juice June 8 and June 9. Volunteers are asked to provide their own lunches to eat in the field. Volunteers also should bring work gloves, snacks, water and personal gear.
