THE GONZO BLOG DOO-DAH MAN WITH HIS FAMILY

It is Sunday again (wouldn't you know it?)
the one day a week I play at poet
and I must admit that my sole inducement
is to do it for my own amusement
So now without further ado
let me present from me to you
(forgetting all my idle boasts)
another batch of Gonzo posts
We will start today by taking you down
to see a friend of mine in Austin town
and I'll tell you know before I blow it
his name is Thom, he's a REAL poet

Some years ago, well more or less
Trevor Rabin played buitar in 'Yes'.
and so today I have for you
a rather revealing interview

You could never say that I'm perverse, me
but I'm a fan of Cris Roversi
and his delicate multi-layered sound
which always sounds good to have around

Today's Gonzo track of the day,
is something cool, I'm glad to say
they hail from Dorset, which can't be bad
Ladies and Gentlemen it's Galahad

Bev Bevan who got in the groove
as the drummer with ELO and The Move
is now on tour (this might sound rum)
with a show celebrating sounds from Brum

Back in the days when I took pills
I became a fan of Stephen Stills
one of my favourite guitarists in the land
he's got himself a brand new band

Now, Zenit are a band that's fine
I wish some of those songs were mine
and so I post to you from me
a review of their latest CD
