From goblins and werewolves to ghosts, sea monsters and wavy green lights, Michigan’s spookiest legends are enough to give you the creeps. Here are the top five of all time. Have you seen them?
Paulding Light: A true mystery. Wavering green or white lights often appear in the forests and above Robbins Pond Road outside Watersmeet in the Upper Peninsula. The lights have been seen for decades. Investigators have ruled out headlights and the Northern Lights. So is it a UFO? A vortex? Supernatural events? Swamp gas? Legend has it that it is the lantern of a railroad brakeman’s ghost.
