    BTW, I commented earlier that once you leave out the Shipton track, most of the other tracks look like variations on the Orang Pendek track. This shows the reason why: it is an older, conservative-ape type of track derived from the Miocene apes. The ancestors of the orangutans had this type of foot and footprint, and so did Ardipithecus, likely immediate ancestor to Australopithecus.
