    That's probably the most common butterfly around these parts.

    The Great Spangled Fritillaries are everywhere.

    I'm glad you guys have them, but I hope it is not an invasive species.

    If you read the name under the butterfly, it says "aphrodite."

    That means that the one in the photo is the aphrodite fritillary, not the great spangled.
