IT APPEARS TO BE A HERON - BUT WHAT SPECIES?

  1. I wish there were a close up of the bird.

It appears to be lighter in color than a great blue heron.

But then it could be all sorts of things, including a color morph of the great blue called a Würdemann's heron.

But those are found only in Florida.

My guess is that it is a Great Egret, although it doesn't appear to be solid white. But in the other video of it, it does look whitish.

It's just very hard to tell.

    My guess is great egret.
