NEWS FROM THE FISHY OUTREACH PROJECT

The baby gourami in the pub tank continue to thrive, although they are still only at the planktonic stage. I don't think that I have ever seen baby fish quite so small, although many years ago when I was in Pembrokeshire at the Field Studies Council I was wading around on the marshy shores of a lake when I came upon a swarm of thousands of baby sticklebacks that were nearly as small....

We are currently awaiting confirmation from the North Devon Hospice who have agreed in principle to our installing and maintaining a tank there....
