ANOTHER ONE FOR DR DAN

Hannah writes: I spotted this beastie this morning in our Garden in Northamptonshire UK. It was approx. 2cm long and I did manage to get a photo.

What is it? I'm pretty sure I know, but do you?

  1. It's a Clearwing Moth, probably a Red-belted Clearwing. Nice find, they are not often seen.

  2. Yes I would have to agree A Red-belted clearwing, they have a rarther unusual shape .
