Dear folks,
I am sending this out to all of the CFZ and Gonzo email
groups, as well as the CFZ and Gonzo blogs! This is because this is a problem
that has totally got me stumped. As most, if not all, of you will know, back in
August we relaunched our monthly webTV show ‘On The Track’. We really want to
expand the number of people we are working with, and so
will be starting to record interviews we do online using Skype or Facebook
messenger. All very good so far. But the big question is:
HOW THE BLINKING FLIP DO WE RECORD VIDEO FROM SKYPE OR FACEBOOK MESSENGER???
This is something that has been bugging me for months, and it will do my blood pressure a hell of a lot of good if someone out there can tell me how to do it.

Love and peas,

OBS STUDIO is a free program that will do that fairly well without constantly harassing you with ads. However, you will need a computer with fairly high-end graphics capabilities as well as a lot of free memory, but the end product is worth it because you can include your Skype and Facebook video chat in the same scene along with a green-screened host and live stream that feed if you have enough bandwidth to do so.
