Houston blue dog

In late September, Naomi West wrote:

"My friend Jesse Stelzer has been helping with Hurricane Relief efforts in Houston. While driving one day last week, he spotted a hairless canid and filmed it for me. This is the first live sighting in a while. 

Last school year, one of the seniors at the high school where I teach showed me a picture of a carcass he had found in the middle of a road close to his house. He knew I investigated the Blue Dog and he thought it looked like a Blue Dog carcass, which it did. Having examined it up close, he said it didn’t have a single hair on its body.  I asked him to return and let me know if the carcass was still there so I could obtain it, but, unfortunately, it was gone. 

This was the third alleged Blue Dog reported in my area in the past five years".
