When the garden has been baked in a heatwave, I love the smell of summer rain. It was searingly hot and dry yesterday until the thunderstorms came, and now it is cool and damp. One, maybe two monarch butterflies have turned up in Hampshire, and Neil Young's new album seems rather nifty. However, it is a full moon, and I am ever so slightly vague today. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the infantile orange cat?
