I'M YER GONZO BLOG DOO-DAH MAN

It is shaping up to be a very nice day indeed. My elder stepdaughter and her husband arrived late last night, and although Gavin has a horrid cold it is always lovely to see them. I have a new issue of Livebearer News to read, and there is homity pie for lunch. It doesn't get much better than that.
I have been a fan of Robert Wyatt ever since I saw him perform I'm a Believer on TOTP in 1974, and was amazed at the furore caused by having a dude in a wheelchair on stage. Here is a link to an interesting feature on him...

*  Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures is an old hippy of 53 who - together with his orange cat - puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with various fish and batrachians. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his mother-in-law, and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the orange cat?
