I'M YER GONZO BLOG DOO-DAH MAN

Life really is strange. I am still sharing my study with a small group of Asian batrachians (two Chinese black spined toads, and an Indian chubby frog, and they are singing away happily whenever I put music on. The particularly seem to like Michael Des Barres' album which shows that they have impeccable taste. Corinna has posted off all the UK orders for 'The Journal of Cryptozoology, Naomi is doing the US ones and someone else (Rebecca, I think) is doing Oz. Mother has just told me off because my office (which I thought was mildly messy)is "a disgrace!" On top of it all Rob Ayling is keeping me amused with emails from Los Angeles where is is doing something arcane with Guns and Roses. Days like this I enjoy.

An insightful and interesting interview with Tony Kaye, who has played with everyone from Yes to Badfinger, and Detective with Michael Des Barres

Our daily visit to the singular universe of Thom the World Poet

A BBC interview with Rick Wakeman about his new version of 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'. However, being the BBC we cannot embed the sound file. But never fear there is a link...

A new song about bullying from Helen McCookerybook. It is called 'Feathers'

Some piccies from the Gong gig in Exeter last week

News from the battle-lines. Rob Ayling at Guns and Roses' Thanksgiving show

The Gonzo Daily is a two way process. If you have any news or want to write for us, please contact me at jon@eclipse.co.uk. If you are an artist and want to showcase your work, or even just say hello please write to me at gonzo@cfz.org.uk. Please copy, paste and spread the word about this magazine as widely as possible. We need people to read us in order to grow, and as soon as it is viable we shall be invading more traditional magaziney areas. Join in the fun, spread the word, and maybe if we all chant loud enough we CAN stop it raining. See you tomorrow...
The Gonzo Daily is - as the name implies - a daily online magazine (mostly) about artists connected to the Gonzo Multimedia group of companies. But it also has other stuff as and when the editor feels like it. The Editor is an old hippy of 53 who - together with his orange cat - puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his bulldog/boxer Prudence, and a motley collection of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the orange cat?
