I'm still none too certain of this handprint since it is still mostly a "blob" that does not indicate the proper joints. But it is closer to a regular human hand in proportions than it is to an orangutan's hand (I still have not handled the actual cast so I'm still just guessing from the photographs) However, every piece of new evidence pushes the investigation forward. I am glad we now agree there is both a hominid and a pongid involved in the matter.
It suddenly occurs to me (still being out of the loop, you know) that this would be an exellent chance to check for dermatoglyphs. are there any traces of fingerprints on the hand cast? I would focus my attention particularly on the thumb.
I see poor Richard is in the firing line again by people whose arses are welded to the chair. I don't know why I read the comments at the end of his article I know they are going to make my blood boil with there ill informed gibberish.
