I had to laugh Jon when I saw the title on that post - I thought it was going to be a pic from a line-up of politicians! Looks like a witchetty grub! And judging by the Australian accent on the tape, I'm thinking I must be close :P
Actually, let me take that back (it has been many years since I've eaten one!). It's a common 'curl grub' aka Scarab Beetle larvae found in most Australian gardens. http://www.yates.com.au/problem-solver/problems/curl-grubs/
