Some of the spelling and grammatical errors in "freecycle" and similar group postings can be hilarious (but is also very worrying). The serious 'dumbing down' of the English language by the visual media, semi-literate teachers, the 'Politically Correct' morons, and assorted worthless governments over the past 40 years or so, is largely to blame.
