Yale researchers believe
T. Rex may have been a cannibal, eating its rivals after fights to the death. Palaeontologists realised bite marks on Tyrannosaur fossils could only have been made by other rexes, and by feeding rather than fighting. They most likely wanted to take over their rivals' territory and food sources, and took the defeated rex as the first of many free meals.
