Doc Shiels rang me up at about 2a.m. on May Day. He wanted to wish us a happy Bealtaine, but in the course of a rambling conversation he warned that Owlman "stuff" might be happening this summer. The next day Matt Williams emailed me this! He wrote:
'Interesting that this OWL in Woodoborough is close to West Stowell which some call West OWL which is home to Jacob Rothschild.'
The game is afoot it seems.
Is this the same circle that appeared in that place back in August 2009? As per the story at:

Or is this something new? It looks the same to me, but my old eyes arent' what they used to be, lol.
I recall travelling out of Woolsery last year, after appearing at the Weird weekened, and I was reading Jon's 'Owlman' book, and heard about the crop circle which Kithra mentioned.

You're so right, Neil. There is no such thing as a coincidence.
ReplyDeletePerhaps Owlman will turn up again this year; although I have a feeling it's only likely to happen if we have a hot summer. I live just 4 miles from Mawnan Smith, where my family lives, and I too loved Jon's Owlman book. It's a mystery that has long fascinated me.
