Also on this day in 1963 Jack Ruby shot Lee Harvey Oswald and in 1971 hijacker Dan Cooper jumped from a plane flying over Washington State, USA with $200,000 in ransom money, neither he or the money were ever seen again.

One day a baby elephant and her 90-year-old great grandmother went for a drink in a watering hole, all of a sudden the old elephant spots a tortoise on the bank and thunders towards him before kicking him into the grass.
“Why did you do that?” asked the baby elephant.
“Because,” The old elephant answered “I can remember coming down to this watering hole when I was your age and, clear as day, I remember that very tortoise biting my tail exactly 84 years and 243 days ago.”
“Wow,” said the baby elephant, suitably impressed “I hope I have turtle recall when I’m your age too.”
