"PC World couldn't do anything" I wonder why that does not surprise me. Your average amoeba most likely has as much or more technical knowledge of computers than the entire staff of PC World. You need to check out the phone book for "PROPER" computer engineers in the area. Companies like PC World, Currys and Dixons, etc., are just "box shifters" there to sell fancy new kit, not repair it.
