BIGFOOT NEWS IN BRIEF

-

Shadowed By A Bigfoot Near Yacolt... - "I Thought I Was A Dead Woman!"
I was shadowed by a Bigfoot near Yacolt, and I seriously thought I was a dead man, or, dead woman in my case.

A St. Patrick's Day/Bigfoot Search Hike has been set for 1 p.m. March 19 by the Wampum Chapter of  the North Country Trail Association ... Bigfoot stories will be shared during the meal.

A Birmingham man is going to great lengths to get a massive Big Foot statue. G. Dwayne Johnson setup a GoFundMe account..

THE GONZO BLOG DOO-DAH MAN STARTS HIS HOLIDAYS IN A CLOUD OF SMOKE

Graham at the helm, and today's shaping up to be a fairly normal day, albeit with Jon and Corinna away on some across-the-UK travels. Yesterday was a tad unusual, as the journey to the airport was hindered when we smelt a stink of electrical burning in the car, and then it started to fill with smoke. I indicated and pulled over, and we bailed out of the car as a precaution.

While the smell and smoke soon dissipated, we then found the car wouldn't start again. Alternative transport was rustled up for Jon and Corinna, while I stayed with the broken-down car awaiting roadside rescue.

Anyhow, it's all part of the rich tapestry of life, I suppose!

And here (a tad late) is the news:

FORTEAN BIRD NEWS FROM THE WATCHER OF THE SKIES

What has Corinna's column of Fortean bird news got to do with cryptozoology?

Well, everything, actually!

In an article for the first edition of Cryptozoology Bernard Heuvelmans wrote that cryptozoology is the study of 'unexpected animals' and following on from that perfectly reasonable assertion, it seems to us that whereas the study of out-of-place birds may not have the glamour of the hunt for bigfoot or lake monsters, it is still a perfectly valid area for the Fortean zoologist to be interested in.
