The Gonzo Daily - Tuesday
I truly don't know how yesterday went. I had been told that I had to be
seen by a doctor, but I was actually seen by a physiotherapist who asked me lots
of questions about my fairly peripheral ailments and hardly touched on my
bipolar or any of the serious stuff. The lady in question was perfectly civil
but I felt that she was completely detached from the process, but I suspect that
in a job like hers this is the only way that one can survive. The receptionist
was really sweet, however. I don't envy her job for all the tea in China. My gut
feeling is that I shall be marked as fit for full time work, but I may be wrong.
I certainly hope so.

* Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an
old hippy of 56 who - together with an infantile orange cat named after a song
by Frank Zappa, and two small kittens, one totally coincidentally named after
one of the Manson Family, purely because she squeaks, puts it all together from
a converted potato shed in a tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he
shares with various fish. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his
bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection of
social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the infantile orange cat, and the
adventurous kittens?
