NEIL REVIEWS NICK REDFERN'S NEW BOOK

Some of you may wonder why on earth I'm reviewing a book about MIBs - those mysterious, UFO-related Men In Black, on this website. Well, for one, the author, Nick Redfern, is a good friend of mine, and secondly, a new book by Mr Redfern, is ALWAYS something to look forward to. However, there is also a third reason for mentioning this book - because although Nick is a dab hand at shedding new light on the classic encounters with the mysterious men, he even manages to find reports of bizarre monsters and their sinister relations to those black-suited gents.

THEY'RE LORIKEETS CAPTAIN, BUT NOT AS WE KNOW THEM

YOU TUBE BLURB: Over a year ago I uploaded a bird video (still up here) called 'Which Bird is This, Please? (S.E. Australia) That pair were finally identified as a lorikeet hybrid (musk/rainbow) The other day ,chancing to glance out of a window (on the Bellarine Peninsula, Australia) I happened to spot these rather exotic looking creatures (presumably again, lorikeets but a different pattern from my first pair) . I sprang into action and was lucky enough to capture this footage. (The quality is not that good I'm afraid, but not bad considering taken with hand-held, SD camcorder through a very dirty kitchen window! My question to you Australian Lorikeet experts is:- Is this again a musk/rainbow cross or is it some other combo?

The music is also all Australian : from Frank Bourke and the White Rose Orchestra (taken from one of my vinyl collection) (I just like to keep it alive!)

OLL LEWIS: Yesterday's News Today

http://cryptozoologynews.blogspot.com/

On this day in 1908 the first animated cartoon, Fantamagorie, was shown in public for the first time.
And now the news:

Cow leaps three foot fence and squashes car
Bolstering Genetic Diversity Among Cheetahs
Honey ant queens share a throne
Orangutan rides bicycle to preach cycling safety
Dogs rescued from being restaurant meals
Cow on the lam for 12 weeks becomes tabloid star
Sharks in Lake Macquarie killed for ‘thrills’

I could post that Jaws clip again, but to keep you all on your toes here's a montage of some of the best bits from the classic John “Captain Jack out of Doctor Who and Torchwood” Barrowman movie Shark Attack III: Megalodon:
