PROGRESS OF THE CONSERVATION LAKE

Regular readers will know that the Braund-Phillips family of Walland Farm are constructing a
conservation lake. They will also know that David B-P left home last September to live in Bristol. He has not seen the progress of his family's lake, so - David - these pics are (mostly) for you.

BLA Guppy Weekend

The guppy weekend is to take place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th February 2011. The event will be held at the Nottingham Gateway Hotel. Rooms (including breakfast) will cost £59.00 for a single room or £65.00 for a double/twin if they are booked through the organisers. Anyone who wishes to book their own accommodation, and also anyone who will be attending as a 'day visitor' please inform Steve Elliott in order that appropriate facilities can be organised. Anyone is welcome to attend - you do not have to be a member of the BLA, and indeed the event is FREE There have been several enquiries with regards to selling guppy stock. OLL LEWIS: Yesterday's News Today

http://cryptozoologynews.blogspot.com/

On this day in 1935 the first polygraph machines were tested. Soon they were touted as a foolproof and scientific way of seeing if someone was telling the truth or not and used by several law enforcement agencies. However, it has been proved since then that the devices are basically pseudo-science and very easy to fool either way and there have been multiple miscarriages of justice and cases of murderers waltzing away without charge.
And now, the news:

Finding Would Reveal Contact between Humans and Go...
The Theft of British Woodland
Plaquemines searching for large black cat
