This may be so and if it is so, then paradoxically the sightings become some of the clearer and more definite sightings of the Jersey Devil, and implying it is a large bat.<br />Moreover I am also inclined to call the 1950s Brazil case and others in Latin America, especially Mexico, as Giant bats. Mexico does have a history of screaming flying witches, and it has been suggested by L.
