The Gonzo Daily - Tuesday
On Tuesday when the kids are due I always try and
get up early so that I can get the blogs done before they arrive. Both of them
are fast becoming indispensable, and I am glad to say that we shall be employing
Jessica when she leaves college in a few weeks. I wish we could employ Danny for
more than a day or so a week, but unless someone gives us unexpected amounts of
largesse, we shall not be able to do this. I want to say a big thank you to
Ronan Coghlan and Andrew May for all the hard work they has done pimping the new
online edition of Animals & Men.
The old print editions used to have about 250
readers, so I was pleased that A&M52 had 750. But the latest issue has had
over 3,800 readers which is totally awesome. Well done chaps.

whilst the legendary Roy Weard continues his regular column. Xtul reveals a bit

* Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several others) is an
old hippy of 55 who - together with an infantile orange cat named after a song
by Frank Zappa puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a tumbledown
cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with various fish, and sometimes a
small Indian frog. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna, his
bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection of
social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the infantile orange cat?
