Jon and Corinna have left the CFZ building, on their way to Norwich for the now-imminent new arrival. So it's Graham at the helm for now. Jon said he'd keep in touch with me via Facebook, so my computer handily chose today to have a hard drive failure! Luckily I had a clone of the C drive stashed, to act as a replacement. It took a while to find, and then cajole into life by means of the Windows disk's repair function, but all is now well.
Meanwhile, Jon's computer's behaving itself, and has allowed the following Gonzo updates:
Ageing Hipsters, Tony Palmer fans, Rock and Roll Revolutionaries, ocket Scientist fans, Erik Norlander devotees, Ozzy Osbourne afficianados and Rupert Bear fans, here's an alert! It has the 1971 Oz Obscenity trial on the cover, and an exclusive interview with Tony Palmer inside, as well as an exclusive extract from the new edition of his book 'The Trials of Oz'. Doug Harr meets the massively talented Rocket Scientists, and Jon is surprisingly reassuring about the future of the music business. There are also new shows from the multi-talented Neil Nixon at Strange Fruit and from M Destiny at Friday Night Progressive. (The massively talented Jaki and Tim will be back again next week, as will their submarine and Maisie the cow). There is also a collection of more news, reviews, views, interviews and long nosed potoroos (OK, no weird antipodean macropods, but I got carried away with things that rhymed with OOOOS) than you can shake a stick at. And the best part is IT's ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!

Worms break up the soil so Bob can bury my hazelnuts and you can plant vegetables and fruit. The vegetables, fruit and flowers attract my friends the birds and bees. The birds spread seeds to grow trees and the bees pollinate the flowers. And when these die back they will enrich the soil and feed the worms.

It takes all of us to make life on our planet possible. And yet, right in front of our eyes, our wildlife is disappearing.

    TODAY'S BIG CAT NEWS

    The hunt for British Big Cats attracts far more newspaper-column inches than any other cryptozoological subject. 

    There are so many of them now that we feel that they should be archived by us in some way, so we are publishing a regular round-up of the stories as they come in. 

    The worldwide mystery cat phenomenon (or group of phenomena, if we are to be more accurate) is not JUST about cryptozoology. At its most basic level it is about the relationship between our species and various species of larger cat. That is why sometimes you will read stories here that appear to have nothing to do with cryptozoology but have everything to do with human/big cat interaction. As committed Forteans, we believe that until we understand the nature of these interactions, we have no hope of understanding the truth that we are seeking.
