The Gonzo Daily - Thursday
Today I get out my conceptual mortarboard and gown
(neither of which I am entitled to wear) and become a teacher for the day, and
if I am going to wander about the sacred groves of Academe, I am damn well going
to feel the part. Today I am tutoring Jessica the Younger (one of my adopted
nieflings) for her English Literature GCSE. As she is doing 'The Hound of the
Baskervilles' I am eminently qualified so to do.
The latest issue of Gonzo is out now. It features an exclusive
interview with Billy Sherwood about his new solo album, the Prog Collective, and
working on the new Yes album. It features exclusive pictures from the rehearsals

* Jon Downes, the Editor of all these ventures (and several
others) is an old hippy of 54 who - together with an orange kitten named after a
song by Frank Zappa puts it all together from a converted potato shed in a
tumbledown cottage deep in rural Devon which he shares with various fish, and
sometimes a small Indian frog. He is ably assisted by his lovely wife Corinna,
his bulldog/boxer Prudence, his elderly mother-in-law, and a motley collection
of social malcontents. Plus.. did we mention the orange kitten?
